Pre-Conference Sessions and Speakers

Welcome to our Pre-Conference Sessions. During the month of February 2025, we will have additional sessions taught by mental health professionals with expertise in trauma recovery, neuroscience, neurobiology, and life experiences who are also trauma survivors. They will provide additional breakout and/or workshop sessions that will help bring forth more education and develop more skills to overcome the challenges faced when recovering from trauma.

STARTING February 3, 2025, we will have ADDITIONAL sessions per week to give our guests more education, tools and resources to use personally or professional.

ALL sessions will take place via Zoom in EST time. Once you purchase your MAIN CONFERENCE TICKET, you'll be able to register for the Pre-Conference sessions.

Each speaker is a highly trained, expert in trauma recovery, neuroscience, neurobiology and life experiences. They each possess a deep understanding of what it takes to heal and recover from trauma and hope to help each of you develop and possess the same.

This session will guide you through understanding how pain can be reframed as a source of strength and motivation.

You'll learn practical strategies for harnessing your own experiences of pain, including methods for reflection, goal setting, and building resilience.

​The audience will feel empowered, validated, and inspired to turn your own challenges into purposeful and positive outcomes, transforming adversity into a driving force for your goals and aspirations, and to take the next steps towards personal growth and transformation.

Why CBT and TF-CBT Is NOT Effective for CPTSD

In this breakout, guests will learn why CBT and TF-CBT are not effective or beneficial for complex trauma/cptsd survivors. We will look at the Neuroscience, Neurobiology paired with life experiences.

Guests will leave with a better understanding of why it is not effective and what other approaches are more effective to help transform lives for a deeper recovery journey. ​

Balancing Your Chakras Through Art

Balancing chakras through art involves using creative expression drawing to channel and align the body's energy centers. Each chakra corresponds to different emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects of life, and creating art with intention can help clear blockages, restore harmony, and promote healing. By focusing on colors, shapes, and symbols associated with each chakra, individuals can tap into their inner energy and cultivate balance, mindfulness, and emotional well-being.

Guests participating in a chakra balancing session can expect a calming and transformative experience aimed at restoring harmony to their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Guests often leave feeling more centered, relaxed, and aware of their inner energy, with a greater sense of balance and emotional clarity.

Instilling positive principles into your soul through art involves using creative expression to reinforce empowering beliefs, values, and intentions. By engaging in art with mindfulness and purpose, individuals can connect with their inner selves and visually manifest qualities like self-love, gratitude, strength, and compassion. This process helps to shift negative thought patterns and cultivate a deeper sense of peace and positivity, allowing the artwork to become a tool for personal growth, healing, and spiritual alignment.

Through guided art activities, they will learn how to use artistic expression as a tool for emotional healing and personal growth.
